I can never bear to listen to myself on the radio but my supervisees have, and they assure me it’s safe to link this so — I was on BFM again earlier today. Two days ago the show producer asked if I’d answer some questions about introducing AI into education for kids, so I recorded my answers using my iPhone’s voice memos and my new Shure MV88. Being me, my answers digressed into philosophy, the idea of consciousness and science fiction as a pedagogical tool. I’m still too terrified to listen to it but friends, you go ahead, haha. At least one of my girls has said that she now wants to go watch all the star trek, so yay team star trek nerds, whether you’re trekkers or trekkies (I can never tell which is which).
