Salam and Eid Mubarak to all!
I thought that this would be a great time to bring down the pricing for Watermyth. I’m not changing the list price of USD9.99 for the ebook (I spent too many years slogging at it and it’s a pretty thick book!) but I am making a super-long promo period for it that runs from March 31 2025 to December 31 2025, at USD 4.99.
As for paperbacks, I’ve brought down the price to USD22.75 (it may take some time for the changes to reflect), which means I’ll make the net profit of USD1.70 per book but I’m more concerned about moving those paperback copies at this stage especially since I’ve had more than one prospective reader ask me about the paperback version. The price is high because of the printing and distribution costs for Print-on-Demand. I get a very small cut from the minuscule sale of each book (the vast majority of sales have been ebooks and I’ve always prioritised the ebooks since they’re less pricey).
I hope this makes the book slightly more accessible for whomever wants to read it!
For my Muslim readers, I hope you have a blessed Eid, whether you’re celebrating it with loved ones, or alone!
Curious to read my debut novel Watermyth? Here’s the information on how to purchase the ebook (and how to borrow it from the library) and the print edition.
