One of the more surprising bits of news that happened on Monday morning was an email asking me if I’d agree to be interviewed for a BFM 89.9FM show on Science Fiction, in my capacity as a science fiction scholar (gasp!).
I agreed, and was given a list of questions to prepare. So yesterday I rushed home from work, had a quick dinner and waited for the phonecall. Fifteen minutes later, after babbling about scifi, the “revolution of ideas”*, it was over!

*(Yes, I was talking about ideas not actual revolutions — I am just a boring middle-aged nerdy scholar, after all! Still, I was pretty nervous the “R” word would get me in trouble given our current situation, but I was babbling nervously anyway!)
